Love Ranch Tribute Mix

god save the love ranch cropped

The Golden age of progressive house can back traced right back to clubs such as Maximus in Leicester square where Sean Mclusky’s and Mark Wigan’s night “Love Ranch” took place during the early 90′s. Long hair, motorcycle boots, trance like house music being played next to US garage tracks and air guitar moments all be the order of the day, with resident djs such as Paul Daly (Leftfield), Danny Rampling, Al Mckenzie, Darren Emerson providing the backing track for the evening.

On a retroist tip, Love Ranch regulars Marcus Hariman and David Hawkins have carefully selected, mixed and edited the musical artefacts of the seminal night and created an epic Tribute mix to the Love Ranch.

Including productions from Rad Rice, Fabio Paras, Danny Rampling, Justin Robertson, Leftfield (Daley), Pal Joey, Andy Weatherall, Mr. Monday, Phil Perry, Kevin Hurry & Kevin Swain (D.O.P.), Baby June, Darren Emerson, David Holmes, Farley & Heller, Mark Moore, Daniele Davoli, Lisa Loud, Rocky & Diesel, Craig Walsh;  includes tunes on labels such as Cowboy & Guerilla Records.

Great! My summer mix for sure. What the hell is the long melodic track around 40′? Thanks
