HOUSE MUSIC

April Wayne – Bigger They come, The Harder They Fall

I first came by this song in 1991 on a house mix tape (one I will upload in a day or so), but it was not until about the year 2000 when I actually found out who the artist was. The song itself is a laid back vocal work out that is accompained by a dreamy synth pad and a house bassline. It sounds like an early progressive house or trance tune, and for its time sounded quite different to the other house outputs of 1989. The artist is swimwear model April Wayne and she one very very hot lady, April also starred in a movie called Party Camp as Nurse Brenda.

Personal Quotes

My favorite role was “Nurse Brenda” in Party Camp (1987). She was a lot of fun to play.” (Source: Movie Buff Magazine, Issue 3, Spring 1990)

“I did a topless scene with one of the campers, but it turned out he was 16 so the scene was removed and the footage destroyed. The scene was very hot though. Thinking back, it came very close to being a soft-core sex scene.” (Movie Buff Magazine, Issue 3, Spring 1990)

“I have no regrets about any of the work I’ve done. You have to live life. God gave me a great body and I’m not ashamed of it. It’s perfect.” (Movie Buff Magazine, Issue 3, Spring 1990)

“I’ve been offered a lot of soft-core movies. I never wanted to do that. Where is the artistic respect?”

“My breasts get all the attention. “

“I love sex. There is nothing wrong with a healthy sex life. Sex is my favorite way to unwind “

“Party Camp was fun. They shot a ton of footage of me naked, having sex with everyone. “

“Party Camp was so wild. It was a great time in my life. I had just gotten out of a relationship and I was really starting to explore myself sexually”

Gets good from 6:30mins gents..

The instrumental of this is great too (The Invasion Of The Hippie Zombie Guys remix I think it is). Recently found an mp3 of this online and I reckon has held up better than a lot of stuff from 1990ish.

Agreed Graham …the instrumental is the one I tend to play as it is more timeless….used to work well in early progressive house sets …. think I will upload it at some point soon.
