A Short Mix From A Short Film About Chilling

Pirate Revival DJ Daddy has put together a superb balaeric mix influenced by the iconic footage of A Short Film About Chilling.
DJ Daddy is a Pirate Revival regular and tune monster, who always puts in a solid and reliable set on the station with nice variations (including some odd balls aswell…nobody mention Hadaway). Make sure you catch his shows on the Station on Tuesday evening between 8-10pm where he can be found entertaining trainspotters with tunes = points = prizes. Big respect this this DJ, hope you all enjoy this set.
In the DJ’s own words from his website http://www.do-1.co.uk/
“I have based this mix on the Short Film About Chilling documentary shot back in the early 1990′s.
This film followed the Farm and various other DJ’s travelling to Ibiza to create a party holiday for the clubbers in the know.
It has footage of the old style Ku club along with various other scenes from around the Island.
I remember watching this when it was first aired over christmas and fell in love with the vibe being created.
I did purchase a tape mix from hard to find Records which contained a mix of some of the tracks featured in the film, but it still fell short of what is a truely classic piece of clubbing history.
So I decided to lay down this mix as my homage to the film”.

Not seen the film for years. funny seeing myself again on stage with the
farm at the KU looking very skinny and wide eyed!! Great times it all brought it back to me, as the memory had definitley gone. I wonder what
happened to that hat.
Thanks
